Danish Mansoori (5-58) and Salman Khan (4-47) wrapped up Anjuman Islam English's first innings for 173 on the second day of the Giles Shield (U-14) final

After Danish Mansoori (5-58) and Salman Khan (4-47) wrapped up Anjuman Islam English's first innings for 173 on the second day of the Giles Shield (U-14) final at the Oval Maidan, it was Prithvi Shaw (159) who stole the show. Shaw and Mohammed Dhaga (66) put on 230 runs for Rizvi to hope for another title triumph.

At stumps, Rizvi were 308 for two. With run machines Sarfaraz Khan (46) and Arman Jaffer (23) looking good, don't be surprised if Anjuman concede the game today.

Ten-year-old Shaw led from the front to score his fourth ton of the tournament. Just as he was closing in on his second double of the tournament, he charged down the wicket off Khizar Daffedaroff, missed the ball, only to see the Anjuman glovesman take the bails off.

"I am glad to lead my team to a comfortable first innings lead. I wanted to score my second double, but the first innings lead should help us to a comfortable victory. I am anxious to lift the Shield for the second time," said Shaw.
