India's Saina Nehwal went down fighting to Xin Wang of China in the quarter-final of the Malaysian Open Super Series badminton at Kuala Lumpur yesterday.
Saina, seeded seventh, took the first game but then ran out of steam to go down 21-14, 8-21, 11-21.
Saina, who reached the Olympic quarter-finals, was the only Indian left in the competition after Chetan Anand lost in the second roundu00a0-- the round of 16 -- in the men's field.
