For those who believe Serena Williams is nothing but pure aggression on the tennis court, the World No. 2 American has revealed that she has quite a soft and graceful side too. The 35-year-old revealed on the sidelines of the ongoing Australian Open that she has a hidden talent in ice skating.
"I can't do a triple Lutz (a figure skating jump), but I can maybe do a double," said Williams admitting however, that she doesn't quite know how she manages to pull off the stunt.
"I have no idea. I just close my eyes, and I just spin and I pray I don't fall. If I do, I get up," she added.
Interestingly, she has a similar approach to one of her most powerful weapons in tennis - her serve. "For me, I don't think about it (serve) to much. I serve my best when I just toss the ball up and see what happens."
