Serena Williams will start planning for marriage with Alexis in February

American World No. 2 tennis star Serena Williams plans to begin her wedding preparations after the ongoing Australian Open.

The 35-year-old champion athlete, who announced on social media in December, that she was engaged to Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, says she's been unable to think too much about her engagement or marriage plan at the moment as she's too focused on the year's first Grand Slam in Melbourne Park.

"I just keep saying, ‘February, I'll start looking at the bigger picture of my life.' But right now, I'm just so focused that this (Australian Open) is all I can think about," she told Us Weekly magazine recently.

Serena has previously revealed that she's eager to have children too. "I definitely want to have kids one day. That's something I've always wanted since as long as I could remember. And the older I get, the more I'm like, ‘I'm too young'," she had said.
