Olympics gold medal-winning gymnast Simone Biles has revealed how her siblings and she would remain hungry when they lived with their mother before adoption.

In the latest episode of her docuseries, Simone vs Herself, Biles, who considers herself lucky that she got to stay with her siblings, said: "Growing up, me and my siblings were so focused on food because we didn't have a lot of food. I remember there was this cat around the house and I would be so hungry. They would feed this cat and I would be like, ‘Where the heck is my food?' And so I think that's [why] I don't like cats…because this freaking street cat, she always fed it. But she never fed us."

According to guardian.com, Biles's maternal grandparents Ronald and Nellie adopted younger sister Adria and her. Meanwhile, their two older siblings, Ashley and Tevin, were adopted by their father's sister as their biological mother was unable to take care of her kids while dealing with alcohol and drug issues.
