Rafael and Maria got married in 2019. Later, they were blessed with their first child in October 2022.
The occasion comes after Nadal's retirement from professional tennis in November 2024. He drew curtains on his illustrious career with 22 Grand Slam titles and also registered 92 ATP wins in singles category.
Apart from this, the Spaniard has also managed to win a gold medal in the singles category of the 2008 Beijing Olympics and later also won the gold in the doubles category of the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics.
Since bidding adieu to the sport, Nadal is now focused on family life and personal ventures.
After retiring, Nadal had expressed, "I don't miss tennis much, because I feel that I gave it all that I had," Nadal told reporters. "I arrived today with the peace that I can't be on court. My body don't allow me to be on court. So that's all. I am in peace," the 39-year-old added.
"I did all that I could to have the best career possible, and now I am enjoying this new phase of my life, that I am sure is going to be less exciting than the tennis career, because the adrenaline that sports gives you, I think it's impossible to find in other things in life. But that doesn't mean I'm gonna be less happy," he added.
Nadal had also said that since his retirement, he has not touched the racquet, but will be back on tennis court in future to play an exhibition match.
"I didn't touch a racquet yet after my retirement. So it's [six] months without being on a tennis court. But I will. I will be back at some point, because at some point I will prepare myself to play an exhibition or something like this," he concluded.
