Uncle's Kitchen United (Malad) beat Vijayanta FC 3-1 vie tie-breaker to win the seven-a-side Versova Village Cup football title in Andheri recently.

In a keenly contested final, Vijayanta took the lead through Vikas Mangela before a last-minute Patrick Thomas free-kick restored parity and took the game into penalties.
In the tie-breaker, only Mangela could beat UK Utd goalkeeper Daniel Fernandes, while UK skipper Ritesh Perambara & Clyde Fernandes made no mistake.
Perambara was adjudged man of the tournament, while Daniel was man of the final. UK United received Rs 22,000 & Vijayanta were richer by Rs 11,000.
