Singh is an instructor in capoeira -an Afro-Brazilian martial arts. He started learning at 14 when a group of capoeira artists visited his school for workshops. He was hooked and today, he conducts private classes. When he got introduced to capoeira, he loved it as it was more than just martial arts. It was about brotherhood, music and social outreach. Capoeira is a factory for friendships and all capoeiristas are like family. He believes that capoeira chose him and not the other way round. Depending on the age group, he adapts the martial art form to teach fitness, acrobatics and movement training. He teaches children through play practice.
