Ears to the ground is a project that documents the changing sounds of the Western Ghats. Sanaya Ardeshir and Krishna Jhaveri spent roughly 12 weeks in the Ghats of Tamil Nadu. Through this ongoing project, they try to enhance ‘activated listening’. The duo hid cameras to capture sounds of the bees, jackals, langur, rainfall and also the chainsaw.
