If he feels the same way, that can lead you both to having a discussion about what you think is missing and what you can each do to resolve this.

I am a 25-year-old guy and have been in a relationship with a girl who is the same age for around three months. A few weeks ago. I was introduced to her new friend, and I am convinced that she is better suited to my temperament than my current girlfriend. I know this makes me sound shallow, but nothing has prepared me for how compatible her friend and I are. We get the same jokes, have similar interests, and I find myself enjoying conversations with her a lot more than with my girlfriend. I feel guilty about this because I feel like I'm lying in this relationship. Please help. Should I tell my girlfriend the truth and ask her friend out?
If you aren't happy in this relationship, that is what you should address first, because it affects your life as well as someone who believes you want to be with her. If you have feelings for her friend, that is a separate issue that isn't based on factual information about how she feels, how your girlfriend will react, or whether her friend will even consider going out with you given your relationship with someone she is presumably close to. The best thing to do for now is to try and resolve your feelings in the current situation. Ask yourself why you think it isn't working, what drew you and your girlfriend together in the first place, and why the appearance of someone new is affecting you the way it is. Thinking about the possibility of a new relationship doesn't make sense until you ask yourself these questions and come up with honest answers first.

I'm bored and frustrated with my boyfriend. How do I make this relationship more interesting?
Talking to him is a start because it's important to try and understand his perspective too. If he feels the same way, that can lead you both to having a discussion about what you think is missing and what you can each do to resolve this.
