I am a 24-year-old woman and have never managed to stay in a relationship for more than a year because I start to be horrible towards all the guys I date after a point. I have no explanation or reason for this, and part of me thinks I do it just because I need an excuse to be single. I know this isn't fair to the people I date, and it's also ridiculous because I start to date almost immediately after ending a relationship. If I keep doing this, I also know that I will have a reputation that prevents other people from going out with me. My friends already warn the guys they know that nothing good will come from being with me. What should I do?
Why not stop dating until you understand yourself a little better? Sometimes, while being in a relationship seems great, it may not align with what we really want for ourselves. Finding out what this is may seem easy but isn't because answers come from soul-searching and honesty about who we are. It's also hard to think about society, peer pressure, family, and where our idea of what we should or shouldn't be doing comes from. Take some time off for yourself, use it to think about the relationships you have had and why they ended. Talk to your family and friends for advice too, even if you don't intend to follow this, because other perspectives always help in some way. You can also try taking your next relationship slowly and analyse how it's going.

My ex and I were about to get back until I decided to play a little too hard to get. He isn't returning my calls now and I don't know what to do. Please help.
If your ex doesn't want to take the trouble of getting back, nothing you say or do can change that. Send him a message with an honest apology and hope for the best. If he doesn't respond, accept that decision.
