Initially five fire tenders were rushed to the spot but after the fire intensified around 2.40 AM, eight more fire tenders were rushed to douse the fire," said an official from Delhi Fire Services.

The fire was spread over an area of 1,000 square yards and furniture was gutted in the fire. Thirteen fire tenders brought the fire under control by 5 AM, added the official.
