A mud bath awaits you
Gear up for the monsoon edition of Mud Rush, a race (in the mud) where you participate with your entire family and choose the challenges
Experience an adrenaline rush, this monsoon with Mud Rush. With a 5 km muddy trail, along the rough terrain of the 300-year-old Fort Jadhavgadh, and over 21 new obstacles, this edition promises to be a lot of fun. You can participate with your family and also choose the challenges you are keen on.
Ajay Prajapati, MD of Mud Rush, says, “This edition will feature 5 km of muddy trail with over 21 obstacles, including ones based on the famous game Temple Run.”
The entire race spans over a distance of 6.6 kilometers and will feature several new obstacles. The race also adds more mountainous terrain, water bodies and green patches. “We expect at least 1,500 to 2,000 people to participate this time,” he adds.
Saurabh Shah, director of Mud Rush, says that this race is meant not just for super-athletic individuals but also for families. Participants will be allowed to dress in unique and fancy costumes, for fun or to support a cause. Participants can also chooseto bypass challenges or exit the race at any given point of time.
“There will also be a post-event Sun-Downer party wherein people can dance to music by DJs and bands,” adds Shah. Audiences can come along as spectators and cheer the teams as well. Sneha Joshi, a student who is participating in the event, said “I will join the race as it is happening in the city and I am looking forward to having a lot of fun.”
Each participant who completes the race will get a cold beverage and a medal recognising them as a Mud Rusher. The proceeds from the event will go to an NGO.
