According to a new report, Angelina Jolie and Daniel Craig, with whom she starred alongside in 'Tomb Raider', are "burning up the phone lines" after the actor pushed the United Nations for more funding for "defusing land mines and other explosives in conflict zones around the world."
"(Angelina Jolie) called him to praise his efforts, and the pair has been blowing up the phones ever since," says an insider, adding that Jolie hopes to join forces with Daniel Craig and the organisation on a project because she's sure the allegedly upcoming 'Tomb Raider' reboot will shed light on their efforts.
"She and Daniel always got on well and are thrilled they have reconnected over a worthy cause," said the insider.
While Brad Pitt and Jolie have been married for two years, they have been plagued by rumours of a split earlier this year due to Pitt's alleged relationship with his 'Allied' co-star, Marion Cotillard.
In March, after sources claimed Jolie and Pitt had been living separate lives for over a year, a report claimed Jolie was insanely jealous of Cotillard, which had put an undeniable strain on her marriage.
The source went on to claim that Brad had made plans to file for divorce.
"He's fed up with Jolie's controlling ways, her obstinateness when it comes to listening to him about her health issues and how she needs to slow down and now her outright jealousy when it comes to other women."
