Bhuvaneshwar's ton lifts Central

Uttar Pradesh all-rounder Bhuvaneshwar Kumar's century helped Central Zone script an unbelievable comeback as they are only 10 runs shy of taking an all-important lead against North Zone in the Duleep Trophy semi-final here yesterday

Riding on Bhuvaneshwar’s unbeaten 120 (12x4, 3x6), Central are tantalisingly close at 442 for nine in reply to North’s 451.

The last wicket partnership between Bhuvaneshwar and Rituraj Singh (batting on 21) yielded an astonishing 100 runs.

Meanwhile, in the other semi-final between East and South is interestingly poised with the former scoring 126 for six in their second innings to enjoy a slender 152-run lead on Day Three in Vizag.
