It takes a lot of courage to fight robbers especially when they are armed with pistols and daggers. But a group of employees from a cash collection agency didn't fear anything and successfully overpowered three robbers, who had targeted their office.

The police were immediately informed following which the culprits were arrested.

"It takes a lot of courage to stand up to armed robbers," a senior police officer said, praising the office staff.

During investigations the robbers confessed of committing a robbery in the Saket branch of the same company on December 24. They had robbed Rs 4 lakh in cash from a collection agent. After that they left town and went underground in Uttar Pradesh, the police said.

The company, however, is unhappy with the steps taken by the police to curb crime in their office locality.

"The incident has forced us to stop our dealings in cash. We now only collect cheques at our branch," said Prashant.u00a0 The agency collects cash and cheques from various banks and customers who pay their phone bills through them.u00a0
