British boxing champ Amir Khan got into a Twitter war while announcing his split with wife Faryal Makhdoom. Khan accused Makhdoom of cheating on him with British boxer Anthony Joshua.

Of the many tweets, Khan first wrote: "So me and the wife Faryal have agreed to split. I'm currently in Dubai. Wish her all the best."

"Left my family and friends for this Faryal. I'm not hurt but another fighter. I'm making it public. You getting the divorce #Golddigger."

After a while, he tweeted again, this time tagging Joshua too: "Faryal moved on quick. Always mentioned to me how much she wanted to be with another guy, from all people another boxer." The one that forced Makhdoom to get involved in the feud was: "Mans (sic) like Joshua can have my left overs!"

To this, Makhdoom replied: "Accusing other boxers just because your boxing career is finished. Man up amir."

She continued: "I'm not the one who's been in the papers every month with my pants down. Cheater! Bad role model, always around women , alcohol and then he calls himself a Muslim and runs a charity."

Meanwhile, Joshua tweeted: "Bantz aside, I hope you guys can resolve your situation or this is a hack as we have never even met! Plus I like my women BBW #ItWasntMe."
