New Delhi: A church was allegedly vandalised by some unidentified persons today in Vasant Kunj area of South Delhi.


The incident took place around 1 AM. Police said that prayer items kept in the church were thrown around and some other things were also broken, adding that no FIR has been registered as yet. Senior police officials had reached the spot.


"We are investigating the incident and scanning the footage of CCTV installed near the church to identify the accused," said a senior police official. This is the fifth such incident in which a city church has been targeted since November last year.
