Chennai Super Kings had it quite easy when they clashed with Mumbai Indians in the eliminator of the fifth edition at Bangalore's Chinnaswamy Stadium.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni-led CSK convincingly beat Mumbai Indians by 38 runs. It was Dhoni’s 20-ball 51 that proved vital in the end.
Put into bat, Dhoni’s side scored 187-5 with Mike Hussey (49) and S Badrinath (47) keeping the scoreboard ticking before Dhoni launched the final assault.
In reply, Mumbai Indians could only manage 149-9 with Dwayne Smith (38 off 22) playing a lone hand. u00a0
