Farida Jalal woke up yeterday morning to news of her 'death' online. Several fans had also posted RIP messages. Late Sunday night, the veteran actress fell prey to a death hoax, which went viral.

An amused Farida says, "I am hale and hearty." She has been shooting for Imran Khan's Sargoshiyan in which she plays a Kashmiri woman. "I don't know how these baseless rumours started. Initially, I laughed, but my phone has been constantly ringing and everybody is concerned. After attending numerous calls, it became irritating, I wonder why people spread these rumours."
