However, 2015 seems specially jinxed for Hollywood couples. One after another, the relationships of several high profile couples seem to be collapsing like a house of cards.

The latest to join the list is Kaley Cuoco — television’s highest earning actress recently split from her husband of 21 months, Ryan Sweeting, citing “irreconcilable differences”.
Here is looking back at celebrity couples who couldn’t do justice to “till death do us part.”
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner:
This was probably the biggest heartbreaker of the year. When the two stars announced their divorce after 10 years of marriage and three children, the rumour mills went berserk, the latest being that Garner is pregnant with Affleck’s fourth child.

Jon Hamm and Jennifer Westfeldt: Lead star of the now-iconic show Mad Men, Hamm split with his girlfriend of 18 years, actress-screenwriter, Jennifer Westfeldt last month. The two seem to have parted ways amicably with Hamm crediting Westfieldt’s support as the reason he beat his alcohol abuse. He also thanked her post his Emmy win very recently.
Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green:
This couple had a whirlwind of a romance. The two got tongues wagging when they first got together. Reason? Megan was 18 while Brian was 30. The duo got engaged after two years of dating but split soon after, only to get married in a private ceremony in Maui in 2010. They welcomed two boys to the world. But alas, after 11 years of being together, and five years of marriage, the two have split again.

Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams: Although the two were married for six years, they claim to have been living separate lives for a long time. Moore was was only 24 at the time the two got married and seems to credit her young and reckless decison as the reason for the split.

Both Blake and Miranda are nothing less of country music royalty. So, the news of them getting together was music to all country music fan. But four years of hilarious interviews, duet performance, several droolworthy red carpet appearances later, the two has finally called it quits.

Sean Penn and Charlize Theron:
The duo, who had known each other for almost two decades, officially started dating in 2013, got engaged in 2014, and broke up a year-and-a-half later. Known for flaunting their PDA, apparently their once sizzling romance fizzled out because they were on ‘different wavelengths’

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, right? Not if you’re Britney Spears. Her Las Vegas hitch and marriage to childhood sweetheart Jason Alexandra is still the stuff of tabloids. Reason? The clearly inebriated and drunk-in-love marriage lasted all of 55 hours.
Carmen Electra and Dennis Rodman
Married: 9 days
NBA star, Dennis Rodman, managed to break his own previous record that lasted an astounding 82 days, with this one. A little after a week of being married, the basketball player filed for divorce citing “fraud and an unsound mind” as the reason.
Lisa Marie Presley and Nicholas Cage
Married: 3 months
The daughter of one of the biggest rock n roll legends, Elvis Presley, had to learn her lesson the hard way. But she wasn’t exactly the ‘once bitten, twice shy’ kind. Lisa was previously married to the King of Pop, Michael Jackson for 9 months. She later married Oscar-winning actor Nicholas Cage only to split 3 months later. According to her version, the reason for the breakup was Cage’s stinginess.
