The Sanjay Kolse-trained Big Sur, who has already won both his races this season on the Mahalaxmi racetrack, will be bidding for a hat-trick in the General Obaidullah Khan Trophy, the feature event of Thursday's eight-race evening card in which he faces only three other horses.

However, the race may turn out to be interesting, and Big Sur will have to be at his best, because two of his three rivals--Frivilous & Vulcan--are now meeting him on much better terms at the scales, and the remaining one, Uncle Scrooge, recently posted a sensational win over Daffodil, and gave proof that though longer in the tooth, his form is clearly on the upgrade.

However, jockey Trevor Patel who is in great form right now, can be counted to preserve Big Sur's energy and turn of foot until the most opportune moment in the mile-and-a-half trip, and therefore, Big Sur is tipped to win the feature event.

First race at 4.30 pm.
