If the glitzy opening ceremony was anything to go by, then the fourth edition of the franchisee-based Indian Super League promises to be a cracker. Amidst a sea of yellow, thanks to the Kerala Blasters FC home fans, at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi yesterday, Bollywood superstars Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif set the stage on fire. The couple, who are the lead pair of the upcoming flick Tiger Zinda Hai, wowed the audience with their fine dance moves accompanied by over 300 supporting artistes.

Salman's entry on a bicycle was particularly cheered by the near-full house in Kochi. The event also saw Kerala Blasters FC co-owner Sachin Tendulkar, super star Mammooty and Nita Ambani, founder-chairperson, Football Sports Development Limited launch the league which will be played over a longer duration this time - November 17 to March 4 - unlike previous editions that were much shorter affairs. Let's football!
