A man in Madhya Pradesh was arrested for sexually abusing his daughter for the last eight years.
A man was today arrested from Jaitapur area for allegedly raping his 21-year-old daughter, police said.
The accused, identified as Omkarlal, had been sexually assaulting his daughter since last eight years by forcing her to consume sedatives, they said.

He also used to give sleeping pills to his late wife.
According to the police, the victim lodged a complaint Monday on the advice of her relatives following her mother's death recently.
Though the victim had earlier told her mother about the incident, her mother had advised her not to reveal it to anybody saying it would bring ignominy.
