While 'Lucknow Central' is inching closer to its release, sports legend Milkha Singh and Gippy Grewal's families will be first amongst the audience to catch the special screening of the intense drama film.

On the promotional tour of team 'Lucknow Central' in Chandigarh, the makers have arranged a special screening for Milkha Singh and his family along with Gippy Grewal's family.

Lucknow Central embodies the ensemble cast of Farhan Akhtar, Gippy Grewal, Ronit Roy, Diana Penty, Deepak Dobriyal, Rajesh Sharma and Inaam-ul-Haq who hail from various strings of Indian Cinema.

Farhan Akhtar who essayed the role of the legendary sprinter Milkha Singh in his biopic 'Bhag Milkha Bhag' shares a very warm bond with the sports personality. The actor makes it a point to visit Milkha Singh whenever he visits Chandigarh. The friendly and respectful equation shared by the actor with the sports legend is evident as Farhan Akhtar invited Milkha Singh and his family for the special screening in Chandigarh.

Gippy Grewal forms an integral part of 'Lucknow Central' as he will be seen as an inmate in the Lucknow Central jail. The trailer of the film has added to the anticipation of the films. The songs 'Kaavaan Kaavaan', 'Meer-e-Kaarwaan', 'Teen Kabootar' and 'Rangdaari' have furthered the narrative of the film giving insights into the lives of the characters.
