Movie time turned into harrowing time for a 26-year-old woman on Sunday night when a boy flashed her in a cinema hall in Goregaon. The victim, with her friend, reported the incident and got the man arrested. The victim had gone to watch a Bollywood film along with a friend at Big Cinema Moviestar in Goregaon and the accused, an 18-year-old boy, was sitting beside her.

During an intimate scene in the movie, the woman saw that the boy had unzipped and exposed himself to her. It was when she was about to leave that the boy started masturbating looking at her and made obscene gestures. She immediately alerted her friend who caught him in the act. She then called the Goregaon police and got him arrested.
The accused, a resident of Andheri’s Four Bungalows area, was booked under IPC section 509 (Word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman). “The teenager was remanded to judicial custody,” said S Vadtak, senior police inspector in Goregaon.
