Musician arrested for coaxing underage female fans to send nude photos
A musician, who found fame on YouTube, has been arrested for allegedly coaxing two underage female fans to send him their naked photos and sexually explicit videos
According to the Daily Mail, Michael Lombardo, 23, was arrested at his home in Rome, New York, after a seven-month investigation by the FBI.
The investigation revealed that the singer-songwriter had attracted a 14-year-old fan to send him her nude images and videos via Skype.
He also demanded a 16-year-old girl to ‘touch yourself and show me’. According to court documents, the victims told police that the Berklee College of Music graduate asked her if she ‘liked taking orders’ and told her to ‘strip until she was completely nude’.
Once naked, Lombardo would allegedly direct the child to masturbate. After searching the man’s home in December, agents found a 51-second video of the teenager masturbating nude on a bed.
The FBI began its probe into Lombardo in late-December when it was tipped off that he had organised a New Year's Eve sexual liaison with a 15-year-old fan who traveled to meet him from Indiana.
Lombardo spent five days in custody and was directed to hand over his passport, undergo a mental health evaluation and wear an electronic monitor.
He is also barred from the Internet, must observe an evening curfew and cannot have contact with anyone under 18. The man faces four counts of child pornography.
Two of the counts filed against him carry maximum prison terms of 30 years and the other two felonies carry a maximum term of 20 years’ jail.
