Natalie Portman is all set to cross all boundaries of imagination in her upcoming movie titled 'Annihilation'. The teaser trailer of the sci-fi thriller was unveiled yesterday by the makers and it looks like Portman is going to take fans on a thrilling ride.

The almost two-minute teaser shows the Oscar-winning star get more than she bargained for during a risky mission to an environmental disaster zone to save her husband, played by Oscar Isaac. The trailer starts with Lena, played by Natalie, volunteering for a risky mission into a mysterious zone called Area X when her husband (Issac) goes missing.
When the Biologist and her team encounter a strange life forms during a scientific mission, they realize they have stumbled into a world where nothing exists as it seems. As the trailer moves forward, the team encounters plant-animal hybrids, which appear less than welcoming to the human intruders.

'Can you describe its form? Was it carbon based? Did it communicate with you?' a researcher asked the quarantined biologist. To which she replies, 'No. It reacted to me.'
Tensions mount inside the zone, as the group is struck with mysterious paranoia, and more. 'I could save him,' she says, before the trailer comes to a close.
The footage looks intense and seems like a ride filled with all the thrills and chills.
The background music is haunting, which gives the trailer the depth that was required. Helmed by Alex Garland, the movie also stars Jennifer Jason Leigh, Gina Rodriguez and Tessa Thompson in pivotal roles. The flick is slated to release on February 23, 2018.
