The American boy band members were at Massachusetts on September 12 for their final North American stop of On The Road Again tour, where they serenaded their 22-year-old co-member, who had his birthday on September 13 during their performance at Gillette Stadium, a website said.

Additionally, Horan also marked the occasion by singing a bit of Taylor Swift's 22. Fans present during the concert shot a video and shared it on social media.

One Direction's tour will next head towards London, where the group will also perform at the Apple Music Festival.
