One-run win for Mumbai Indians (when they last met)

It was a tame batting display on offer when the neighbours met in the previous instance on May 3 last year.

Opting to bat, Mumbai Indians managed just 120 runs. Sachin Tendulkar was the only batter to score more than 30 runs.

In reply, Pune fell short by one run. Their batsmen failed to apply themselves, barring Mithun Manhas. But Manhas' efforts proved to be insufficient to take his team over the line. He ended up with an unbeaten 42.
