Los Angeles: While police continue to investigate Prince's cause of death, new findings show that late singer reportedly received a prescription shortly before he passed away.
According to a search warrant, a physician prescribed medication to the "Purple Rain" singer on April 7, reported Ace Showbiz.
The music icon also underwent tests on April 20, a day before he was found unconscious at his Paisley Park home. It is still unknown what Prince was being treated for, but according to reports the late pop star's people said he was treated for an illness in 2014 and 2015 at Ridgeview Hospital in Chaska, Minnesota.
The Carver County Sheriff's Office on Tuesday tweeted that "detectives are revisiting the scene at Paisley Park as a component of a complete investigation."
A Carver County Sheriff's vehicle came along with about a dozen unmarked vehicles as they entered through the gates of Paisley Park.
Meanwhile, new details about a man who claimed to be Prince's biological son has surfaced. Carlin Q Williams, who filed a paternity claim against Prince's estate, is currently in federal prison for gun possession.
