Maldives notched up a 3-1 victory over Bhutan to open their campaign on a winning note in the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Championships

Thiruvananthapuram: Maldives notched up a 3-1 victory over Bhutan to open their campaign on a winning note in the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Championships on Thursday.

Maldives scored through Ahmed Imaaz, Assadhulla Abdulla and Ali Ashfaq while Tshering Dorji netted for Bhutan.
