On Sunday, November 12, almost after a month of tying the knot, Tollywood's power couple Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya hosted a grand wedding reception for the film industry in their hometown, Hyderabad. It was a star-studded affair with the who's who of Telugu cinema. It wasn't only for the celebrities, but the wedding reception was also graced by eminent sports personalities, prominent politicians, and businessmen.

While Samantha dazzled in an embellished mermaid gown, Naga looked dapper in a blue suit. In attendance, to shower blessings on the couple were parents Nagarjuna and Amala Akkineni. Joining them was Akhil Akkineni, Chaitanya's younger brother, which made for a perfect family frame. Superstars Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh with family, Ram Charan, Allu Arjun and Varun Tej were also present. Other celebrities who graced the special occasion were ace filmmaker SS Rajamouli, Vamshi Paidipally, Nandamuri Harikrishna, Murali Mohan, Krishna, UV Krishnam Raju and others. The younger clan, who added glamour to the reception, were Nikhil Siddharth, Rashi Khanna, Rakul Preet and others.

Chaitanya's cousin and actor Rana Daggubati with father Daggubati Suresh Babu also attended the reception. The Daggubatis had held a special celebration for the newlyweds the last month. The couple had an extravagant three-day marriage ceremony in Goa, after which the couple headed for their honeymoon to London. Samantha had shared beautiful pictures on her Instagram account. They tied the knot on October 6, 2017.

Chaitanya and Samantha had first met on the sets of Gautham Vasudev Menon's Telugu romantic-drama 'Ye Maaya Chesave' and went on to work together in many films such as 'Autonagar Surya' and 'Manam' amongst others.
