Yesterday, city Congress chief Sanjay Nirupam dashed off a letter (a copy of which is with hitlist) to censor board chief Pahlaj Nihalani asking for a screening of Madhur Bhandarkar's upcoming film, Indu Sarkar.

As the film is set during the Emergency (1975 to 1977), Nirupam is concerned about how Indira Gandhi, Sanjay Gandhi and other Congress leaders have been portrayed. He wants to ensure that they are not shown in bad light.
