The Take Solutions World Corporate Golf Challenge u2014 India, Western Zone qualifier teed off over the weekend at Amby Valley, near Lonavala with 80 corporate two-member teams competing for four spots at the National final to be held in March.
The TAKE Solutions World Corporate Golf Challenge u2014 India, Western Zone qualifier teed off over the weekend at Amby Valley, near Lonavala with 80 corporate two-member teams competing for four spots at the National final to be held in March.
The four teams which topped after two days of play will be joined by four other teams from various regional qualifiers, yet to be played in Bangalore and Delhi.
Spica Elasticu00a0team represented by Manish and Amish Jaitha took top honours and the Bajaj Electricals team represented by R Ramakrishnan and DS Benupani emerged winners on Day One and Two with 74 and 72 points respectively.u00a0
They were joined by the Barclays team comprising Abhaya Gupta and Su00a0 Krishnamurthy who scored 62 points on Day One and the Dynamic Lifter Organic team comprising of Yohann Pedder and Sameet Sanghrajka who scored 70 points on Day Two for a berth in the National finals.
The TAKE Solutions World Corporate Golf Challenge is the official India qualifying tournament for the world championship of corporate golf, now in its 14th year. The tourney brings together corporate teams from 30 countries who win their national qualifying tournaments.
