Producer Boney Kapoor has reportedly confirmed that his daughter Jhanvi's Bollywood launch will happen with a Karan Johar vehicle. According to a report by DNA, Jhanvi Kapoor's launch project will presumably be a remake of the Marathi film, 'Sairat', since Karan Johar has acquired the remake rights.

Boney Kapoor has said that he's proud that daughter Jhanvi is read for a career in films, but hopes she doesn't get compared to her famous mother Sridevi. Speculation on when Jhanvi Kapoor would begin her foray in Bollywood films has been rampant since the past three years. But, Sridevi has said that she prefers that her daughter gets to finish her studies first and enjoy life a little bit before entering the film world, since she was unable to do that herself.
