Steven Spielberg has revealed that he would never use 'Tintin' style performance-capture technology to 'youngify' Harrison Ford for the role, if there were another Indiana Jones movie.
With star Harrison Ford approaching 70 and no finished script in sight, fans are wondering if the actor might be creeping up to the point where it is no longer realistic for him to put on the trademark fedora for another adventure, the New York Daily News reported.

"I would never do an Indy retread where I took Indiana's face, the way it exists in 2011 and 'youngify' him," Spielberg said.
The animation is produced by actors, who wear gears like wetsuits with markers all over their bodies and face. Inside a room filled with cameras called a "volume," their movements are picked up by a computer and translated into what ultimately become their animated characters.
But despite the lukewarm response to 2008's "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull," Spielberg feels that there are some artifacts that remain treasures in any era of movie making.
"If there's an 'Indy V,' I'm not sure when or if there will be, but if there is an 'Indy V,' Harrison has to be the age that he is when we make the picture." "He's going to have to play that age, and we'll write that into the script," Spielberg added.
