The trailer of Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor's upcoming flick, Stree was launched at a grand event on Thursday evening. The trailer has an interesting blend of horror and fun. Based on a ridiculously true phenomenon, the story is set in a small town where it is believed that there was a beautiful woman and every man was awestruck by her beauty; but only one man had loved her truly.

The trailer shows Shraddha Kapoor as Rajkummar's love interest. While Rajkummar's friends tell him that Shraddha is that horrifying 'Stree', he refuses to believe them. Rajkummar essays the role of a tailor named Vicky in the film. The film also stars actors like Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurrana, and Abhishek Banerjee in pivotal roles.
The flick is slated to hit theatres on August 31.
