Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall, the hit musician duo which goes by the name, The Chainsmokers, will perform in Mumbai at Mahalaxmi Racecourse on September 7. This will be followed by a gig in Delhi the following day.

A source says, "The Chainsmokers will be in India for three days. They are expected to go sightseeing in Mumbai and Delhi and are planning to meet singers for possible collaborations. An evening hosted by a Bollywood celebrity is on the cards. The likes of Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt and Malaika Arora are expected to attend the show." The source further suggests that Priyanka Chopra, who collaborated with the singers on the single, Erase, in 2012, might join them on stage.

Karan Singh of Percept Live, organisers for the event, says, "We're sure the concerts will be memorable for all dance music fans. Fans of The Chainsmokers have waited for them for long."

The DJs will be accompanied by six popular international EDM acts, Slushii, Rezz, Getter, Sam Feldt, Lost Kings and Mykris, on stage. Ticket sales, starting at R2,000, will go live tomorrow.
