WWE Survivor Series 2016: Goldberg dominates Brock Lesnar for the win

WWE Survivor Series 2016 turned out to exceed expectations after an epic main event that saw Goldberg shock the world and WWE universe by defeating Brock Lesnar in record time.

WWE Survivor Series 2016 turned out to exceed expectations after an epic main event that saw Goldberg shock the world and WWE universe by defeating Brock Lesnar in record time.

WWE Survivor Series 2016 began with the Cruiserweight division that saw Noam Dar, Rich Swann, and T.J. Perkins beat Ariya Daivari, Drew Gulak, and Tony Nese after Swann scored the win. Then Kane took on Luke Harper and defeated him after hitting a chokeslam.

5-on-5 tradition elimination match (women)
The main pay-per-view event began with the traditional women's 5-on-five elimination match of Raw ( Charlotte, Bayley, Sasha Banks, Nia Jax and Alicia Fox) vs SmackDown (Becky Lynch, Alexa Bliss, Carmella, Naomi and Natalya). Nikki Bella who was part of SmackDown Live was attacked prior and told to sit out. Alicia Fox first eliminated Carmella. Alexa Bliss then eliminated Foxx hitting the Twisted Bliss on her. Naomi was eliminated via count out. Natalya, who was Nikki Bella's replacement, rolled up Sasha Banks to eliminate her. Raw women's champion Charlotte then hit the Big Boot on Natalya to eliminate her. Becky Lynch took on the huge Nia Jax and forced her to submit to the Dis-arm-her. Charlotte eliminated Alexa too with the big boot. Bayley then hit thE Bayley-to-Belly on Becky to eliminate her and win the match for Raw. During celebrations, Charlotte attacked Bayley.

Intercontinental title match
The Miz battled Sami Zayn for the title. Towards the end when Zayn had the figure four locked in, Miz's wife Maryse rung the bell which led to Sami Zayn thinking he won. Later, on Miz performed the roll-up on Zayn to retain his title.

5-on-5 tradition elimination match (tag team)
Team Raw's tag teams The New Day, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, Sheamus and Cesaro, Enzo Amore and Big Cass, and The Shining Stars took on Team SmackDown Live's Heath Slater and Rhyno, The Hype Bros, American Alpha , The Usos and Breezango. New Day quickly eliminated Breezango with the Midnight Hour, but a minute later they too were eliminated by the Usos. The Hype Bros were eliminated by Gallows and Anderson while American Alpha eliminated the Shining stars. Rhyno then took out Gallows and Anderson with his move.Enzo Amore and Big Cass then eliminated Heath Slater and Rhyno. Usos then took out Enzo and Cass and finally Cesaro and Sheamus defeated the Usos to emerge champions for Raw.

5-on-5 tradition elimination match (men)
Team Raw's roster of Kevin Owens, Chris Jericho, Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman, and Seth Rollins took on Team SmackDown Live's roster of AJ Styles, Dean Ambrose, Bray Wyatt, Randy Orton, and Shane McMahon. Ambrose was eliminated by Strowman. James Ellsworth played a pivotal role in counting out Strowman to eliminate him. Kevin Owens was eliminated via disqualification after attacking AJ Styles. Randy Orton then hit the RKO on Chris Jericho to eliminate him. Roman Reigns hit the spear on Shane McMahon to eliminate him. Ambrose returned to attack Styles and teamed up with Reigns and Rollins for a short return of The Shield and tossed Styles through a table. Rollins then eliminated Styles. Orton hit an RKO on Rollins as Bray Wyatt eliminated him. Wyatt then hit the Sister Abigail on Reigns to secure the win for SmackDown Live.

Goldberg vs Brock Lesnar
The much awaited main event was the biggest shocker in WWE recent times as Goldberg defeated Brock Lesnar in a stunning 1.25 mins. Goldberg hit two spears and as Brock got to his feet Goldberg hit him with the jackhammer to achieve a dominating win.
