A fan turned celebrity manager - M D Wasim

There cannot be a more inspirational story than this. MD Wasim who is a businessman and manages many famous film and TV actors says that till a few years ago he was known only as a Bollywood fan. But then he decided to establish himself in the field of celebrity management.

Wasim says that it took time but today he manages everyone from famous TV actor Salim Zaidi to film director Arbaaz Khan.


Wasim further revealed how he keeps himself away from stardom. He mentioned once incident that happened when he met Shahrukh Khan as his fan. Wasim clarifies that  Shahrukh on that day said to him "Aaj toh sare dost tumse treat maangenge".


Wasim told that after meeting Shahrukh, he changed so much as a person and he still remembers his words. Now a days I travel a lot because of my business and spend less time in India but whenever I get time to relax I go back to my home town and meet my friends and family.


Talking about his future projects Wasim disclosed that right now he wish to concentrate in his Celebrity Management business and may be if god allows and make his business flourish he will definitely try to start a business in real estate.

At present wasim has collaborations in many businesses because of his reach and popularity and one could get an idea of his influence on social media also where he has thousands of followers.

On a question about his political links he said he kept politics aside. He is not interested in politics and neither wish to have any agenda against anyone, says wasim. Wasim also good relations with maldives government official also.

Talking to mid-day wasim also tells how he counter the stress that comes along with the business. He said reading books and listening soft music helps him remove that stress and he likes to spend some time alone while doing so.

Regarding his taste wasim said he like non-veg and veg both but if you ask him about what he likes most it would be chicken tikka.
