When asked about the challenges he faced, Mr. Joshi had a clear vision. But such a technology comes with a cost. The cost to set up is almost 12 crores per acre and that’s what is pinching growth. Mr. Joshi agriculture expert expects the government to get involved and provide subsidized loans to the farmers for such type of farming. This would boost the morale of the farmer community and more farmers would be able to generate higher yields which can improve the GDP of the country.
