There is no business that is as risky as the business of producing films. While a successful film can help you earn rich dividends, a flop film could ruin careers.

Therefore, when somebody decides to become a film producer, they must choose a script that could connect with the audience and invest in a project that proves to be profitable in the long run.

Varsha Kukreja, who is making her debut as a producer with ‘Salaam Venky’ is confident that she has chosen the right film to start her journey as a producer with.

“I am glad that ‘Salaam Venky’ turned out to be my first production venture. The film has a heart-warming story that I am sure will resonate with a large audience. I always wanted to start out with a film that would have the kind of narrative that inspires people and tugs at their heartstrings. We are having a great time shooting the film and it is a film that I will always be very proud of”, the enterprising producer says.

Featuring Kajol in the principal role, ‘Salaam Venky’ is directed by Revathy who, apart from being a prolific director herself, has films like ‘Mitr: My Friend’ and ‘Phir Milenge’ to her credit as a director. The film marks Kajol’s first outing as a director since ‘Tribhanga’ which released on the streaming platform Netflix. Along with Varsha Kukreja’s BLive Productions, ‘Salaam Venky’ has been produced by Suuraj Sinngh and Shraddha Agrawal.
