Jai Sanatan Cinema has announced an exciting new web series titled Baba Neeb Karori... Mauni Maa featuring Jitendra Singh (Sabu) in the lead role as Neeb Karori Baba and Navni Parihar as Mouni Maa. The recording for the series’ soundtrack, featuring renowned singer Mujtaba Aziz Naza, took place today at Studio Space in Andheri, Mumbai. The event witnessed the presence of notable actors such as Navni Parihar, Amit Behl, Jaya Bhattacharya, Deepak Qazir, Mukul Naag, Tinaa Ghaai, Sunil Pal, adding to the series' anticipated star power.


Neeb Karori Baba, also known to his followers as 'Maharaj-ji', was a Hindu guru and a devotee of the Hindu deity Hanuman. He gained international recognition for being the spiritual master of numerous Americans who traveled to India in the 1960s and 1970s, including spiritual teachers Ram Dass and Bhagavan Das, and musicians Krishna Das and Jai Uttal. His teachings emphasized simplicity, devotion, and service, leaving a lasting impact on his followers worldwide.


Speaking about his role, Jitendra Singh (Sabu) shared, "Portraying Neeb Karori Baba is a privilege, honour and responsibility. His life and teachings have touched so many hearts, and our goal is to bring his story to life in a way that resonates with people today. We hope to inspire and enlighten viewers through this series."

The series is being produced under the banner of Jai Sanatan Cinema Pvt Ltd, with Jitendra Singh and Bishnu Mishra serving as producers and co-producers Ankit Raathi and Anita Singh. Helmed by director Jitendra Singh (Sabu), who also stars as Neeb Karori Baba, the creative direction and editing are managed by Prince. The story, screenplay, and dialogues are crafted by Dilip Mishra and Jitendra Singh, ensuring a deep and authentic representation of Neeb Karori Baba’s life. The music for the series is directed by Syed Ahmed with lyrics penned by Shankar A. Mishra and Vimal Kashyap. Besides Mujtaba Aziz Naza, the series will feature vocal performances by Shailendra Bharti, promising a rich auditory experience that complements the narrative.

The cast includes Jitendra Singh (Sabu) as Neeb Karori Baba, Navni Parihar as Mauni Maa, and supporting actors Radha Singh, Ratan Singh Mayal, Ramesh Sharma, and Vikas Sharma. The series is set to delve deep into the spiritual journey of Neeb Karori Baba, known for his devotion to Hanuman and his influence on spiritual figures like Ram Dass and Bhagavan Das.
