Some of the highlights include -
Kerala
V-Guard continues to make meaningful contributions in its home state of Kerala. The company implemented Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) projects in Kerala during the last financial year, focusing on education, skill development, healthcare, and disaster relief.
One of the company’s flagship initiatives is TARANG, a skill development programme for youth that offers free training in electrical and electromechanical trade. Over the past seven years, more than 700 individuals have completed the training and are now employed in technical roles across various entities nationwide. The programme combines classroom training with on-the-job methods, and V-Guard aims to expand the programme in the coming years.
The company also upgraded government schools, IT and science labs, supported smart classrooms, strengthened public healthcare delivery by providing medical equipment and vehicles, and extended aid to critically ill patients under the V-SUPPORT assistance programme. Over seven tonnes of food grains were distributed in response to disaster relief needs in Wayanad.\
Karnataka
V-Guard's Navdarshan initiative in Northern Karnataka has become a haven for over 1,000 children with intellectual challenges across 10 special schools. Through educational support, therapeutic care, and vocational training, these children are not just learning; they’re learning to dream.
Elsewhere, in Bhatkal and Mysore, safe drinking water is no longer a luxury. With state-of-the-art RO plants installed in colleges and public spaces, thousands now have access to clean water every day. New classrooms in Chikkamagaluru and essential infrastructure facilities in Gulbarga are yet another testimony to the brand’s belief in education as a pillar of transformation. Altogether, V-Guard undertook a range of CSR initiatives across Karnataka during the financial year 2024–25, focusing on projects in education, public health, and social inclusion.
Tamil Nadu
V-Guard has implemented a series of CSR projects across Tamil Nadu, during the financial year 2024–25. As part of its education-focused interventions, the company upgraded infrastructure in government schools and provided laptops, green boards, digital panels, and campus paver blocks. In healthcare, V-Guard conducted medical camps for rural communities, benefiting more than 500 people, and supported six government hospitals with essential equipment.
Through its ‘Hope After Fire’ initiative in Coimbatore, V-Guard supported reconstructive surgeries to help burn survivors rebuild their lives. Environmental efforts included the Mini Forest Project, where employees planted 200 saplings and contributed 500 volunteer hours.
V-Guard also installed 100 solar-powered streetlights and set up a 10,000-litre overhead tank and RO plant in Kottupullam Panchayat. In Ettimadai, a check dam renovation improved water conservation. E-rickshaws were provided to Mylampatti Panchayat to aid waste management.
Andhra Pradesh and Telangana
V-Guard has implemented multi-sectoral projects across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana during the financial year 2024–25, focusing on education, healthcare, and inclusion, touching thousands of lives across the states.
In Telangana, the Navdarshan programme mirrors its Karnataka counterpart, supporting 958 intellectually challenged children across 10 special schools. Under its Government School Support programme, V-Guard enhanced the learning environment by constructing classrooms in Mothighanapur, upgrading sports facilities, and renovating schools in Chinncherapally with smart boards and performance stages.
To improve healthcare access, V-Guard conducted health camps in the suburbs of Hyderabad, benefiting over 1,400 individuals. In Andhra Pradesh, it provided specialized equipment to the Government Dental College and Hospital in Vijayawada.
Odisha and Beyond
The Navdarshan initiative in Odisha impacted nearly 1,000 children across 10 special schools, marking one of the company’s most significant CSR efforts during the year. Project Suno focused on hearing health, screening more than 22,000 children in West Bengal and distributing 315 hearing aids. In states like Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, Andhra Pradesh, and Uttarakhand, projects focused on the core pillars of the company’s CSR outreach, installing solar lights, supporting government hospitals, renovating schools, and even constructing much-needed drainage systems in Sikkim.
From smart classrooms in Jharkhand to the ‘CANCARE’ Breast cancer prevention and awareness initiative in Haryana, from the ‘Blind Free Bihar’ free cataract surgery programme to traffic safety initiatives in Uttarakhand, V-Guard’s efforts are broad, multifaceted, and deeply rooted in local needs.
Human-Centric, Hyper-Local
