Pakistani actress Humaira Asghar Ali was recently found dead in her Karachi apartment on Tuesday, July 8. Her landlord reportedly visited her flat with local police to get it vacated, and that's when they found the 32-year-old's heavily decomposed body in the flat.

According to reports, the landlord of Humaira's flat in Karachi's Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Phase-VI, where she lived, had moved court. The actress reportedly stopped paying rent in 2024, which led to the landlord moving to court. The landlord, with the court's order in hand, along with local Gizri police, reportedly reached the apartment around 3:15 pm on Tuesday to vacate the flat. However, they whiffed a foul smell emanating from the flat.

Despite repeated knocks, the door was not opened, which made the people suspicious. Eventually, the cops decided to break into the house. On breaking the door open, they discovered Humaira's decomposed body inside. A Dawn report stated that police surgeon Dr Summaiya Syed informed the police about Humaira's body being in a "very advanced stage of decomposition". This indicated that she had died at least two weeks ago. Her body was moved to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre where a post-mortem examination was conducted.
For now, the cops have ruled out any foul play since all doors were locked from the inside. They are now trying to reach out to Humaira's family members and relatives. It is believed that the actress had reportedly been living alone for the past seven years.

Born in Lahore, Humaira Asghar was a Pakistani actor, model, and reality TV star. She featured in several TV serials and reality shows. She was also quite active on Instagram. However, netizens noticed that she had gone completely missing from social media since September 2024.
She was seen on the Pakistani reality show, Tamasha Ghar, which is similar to the international show, Big Brother, and India's Bigg Boss. In 2015, she also featured in the film Jalaibee.
