Rapper Badshah angrily reacted to a viral video showing a man eating chicken at a vegetarian restaurant located within the ISKCON temple premises in London. The video has sparked outrage among netizens, who called the man’s actions disrespectful towards Indian culture. Badshah also took to X to share his reaction to the video, which is doing the rounds on social media.

About the viral video

In the clip, the man approached the staff and asked, “Is this a vegan restaurant? So there is no meat? Are you sure?” Despite being told multiple times that it is a vegetarian restaurant, the man pulled out a box of KFC chicken and began eating it at the counter.

Angered by his actions, both the staff and customers asked the man to step outside, but he refused. In fact, he walked around the premises while eating the chicken and even offered it to those nearby.

Reacting to the post, Badshah wrote, “Even the chicken would be embarrassed. Dude wasn’t hungry for chicken, he was hungry for some (sandals) on that face. True strength is in respecting what you don’t understand.”

Many other Indians also condemned the man’s behavior. One user wrote, “This isn’t just disrespect — it’s deliberate provocation inside a sacred space. Freedom of expression doesn’t mean freedom to insult faiths. This isn’t ‘edgy,’ it’s plain hateful. Authorities should act if laws were broken. Disgusting behaviour.”

Another person tweeted, “Hope a complaint was filed at the local police station. Don’t know if he can be arrested for this or not, but this is pure hate.”

About Badshah's controversial Dua Lipa tweet

On June 6, Badshah took to X (formerly Twitter) and posted, "Dua Lipa" with a red heart emoji. The vague tweet left fans wondering whether a collaboration with the pop sensation was in the works.

A curious fan responded, asking if something was brewing between the two. To this, Badshah replied, "I’d rather make babies with her, bro."

A screenshot of the tweet surfaced on Reddit, where users slammed Badshah and called the comment tone-deaf.

After the backlash, Badshah took to social media once again to clarify his stance. He did not apologize for his comment, but instead claimed it was a meaningful compliment.

"I think one of the most beautiful compliments that you could give to a woman that you really admire is to wish for her to be the mother of your children. Meri soch nahi, tumhari soch saamne aayi hai (Not mine, but your thinking has been exposed)," he wrote.
