Shiv Pandit who was seen in the television serial FIR and in films like Shaitaan (2011) and Boss (2013) has been signed to play one of the lead characters in Saurabh Varma’s Meet The Patels.

The film is based in Mumbai and is about two Gujarati boys. Varma, earlier directed Manish Paul in Mickey Virus (2013). He says he chose the actor because of his comic timing in FIR which is remembered even today after Shiv quit the show long back.
