Aamir Khan meets James Cameron

The two will be key speakers talking about movies at upcoming function

Aamir Khan and James Cameron will be sharing the same platform at a forum in New Delhi on March 13. The topic of their speech will be the future of cinema.u00a0 The two filmmakers will not just be speaking about their respective work but also addressing the changing environment of filmmaking.u00a0 This will be the Avatar director's first visit to India.



It is learnt that Aamir has been preparing for the Conclave by watching all of Cameron's work. He has also prepared a list of questions he plans to ask Cameron.u00a0



They will also be present at au00a0 private dinner later that evening. A source says, "Aamir is looking forward to meet Cameron. Like everyone else, he too is dazzled by the special effects and 3D technology of Avatar. He plans to sit with Cameron and talk to him about his views on the changing nature of films."

James Cameron too has been briefed about Aamir and sent DVDs of his recent films to watch before the two speakers meet. Since Aamir was showcasing Peepli Live at Sundance and other places in the US, he met several filmmakers and producers in the West. Aamir also plans to discuss with Cameron ways of marketing and distributing Indian films in the West.
