Abhishek Bachchan has opted out of J P Dutta's Paltan citing personal reasons. The actor's sudden decision yesterday came as a shock on the eve of the film's first schedule in Ladakh. The actor and the filmmaker go back a long way. Junior B made his Bollywood debut in Refugee (2000) and his love story with Aishwarya Rai began on the set of Umrao Jaan (2006). Both the films were directed by Dutta. Tongues have been wagging about what on the home front prevented him from fulfilling the commitment. Bachchan was last seen in Housefull 3 (2016).
